In relation to the goals for my health and fitness, I have started a personalised diet and exercise plan with V Shred. This is a programme that a few of my friends have undertaken and found to be very effective. The exercise regime is about 30 mins 5 days a week, and is home based using free weights. The diet is a carb cycling programme, which is supposed to boost the metabolism. On top of this I have been doing Canicross with the dogs 3-4 times a week.
I have started the diet plan already, and the exercise programme starts on Monday. I am planning on introducing yoga 3 times a week from July. The diet plan has actually been really nice. They do a weeks plan which is repeated every week for 4 weeks, and then another diet plan is introduced. After giving details on foods I like, and those I dislike, the nutritionist then sculpts the plan.
Having used the current diet plan for a little over a week, I am surprised by the number of meals I am expected to eat. Fortunately the serving sizes are small. One thing that I have noticed is the tiny quantity of rice and pasta that is considered a portion.
